The Israeli "cult." Well said. How many realize cults kill?

“And what precisely is Zohran guilty of? Saying that Palestinians deserve to live. That democracy means equality. That genocide is not a justifiable instrument of foreign policy. Mind you, he even affirms the most sacred shibboleth of Western orthodoxy: Israel’s ‘right to exist’ — which no nation-state is legally endowed with.” Arguably, the United Nations Charter guarantees all nation-states recognized by the UN “the right to exist”. Not that I have any faith in the UN or its charter or its member states or any of its operations.

The UN charter recognises no such right.

So it’s your staunch stance that NO nation-state has the (so-called) “right” to exist? That would include the State of Palestine then, correct?

Repeating my response since you've asked the question in 3 diff places.

Yes actually, legally speaking this is accurate. PEOPLE deserve to exist. In the specific case of "Israel," it is an illegal "state" to begin with. The "Israelis" are majority non native and have zero right to be on stolen land and to claim that it is their "Jewish State." Do you understand?

"Israel" has no such right. It is a settler colonial project built on stolen Palestinian land.

Actually his biggest sin in New York is saying capitalism isnt working for ordinary New Yorkers and needs reform. Because New York is the capital of money worshipping, and that means he's doing the political equivalent of bible burning.

Any reference to his stand on genocide and colonialism abroad, is purely secondary.

But his real heresy is economic.

IFF no “settler colonial projects built on stolen indigenous peoples’ lands” have the right to exist, name a present day nation-state that’s exempt… if you can. You cannot turn back time and eliminate migrations, settlements and colonization, regardless of the evils that occurred under these “projects”. It’s a fantasy.

I wish we could turn back time on Canada, the US, New Zealand, and Australia, but yeah it's sadly too late. It was not too late for South Africa however. And it is not too late for Palestine.

Zohran Mamdani stating “Israel” has a right to exist is insane! Bernie Sanders agrees with Mamdani. The Cult Colony of “Israel” MUST BE FORCE STOPPED FROM CONTINUING TO COMMIT HOLOCAUST GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE 🇵🇸 !!!!

As a lifelong rationalist, (atheist, nonbeliever, etc.) I’m always mildly suspicious of very religious people.

But we’re now witnessing an event, led by two sets of fanatics, which eclipses 9/11, Hiroshima, and in its shameless brutality, perhaps even the Nazis Holocaust.

How dare anyone criticize an honorable Muslim man simply for being a member of a religious group? Decent people everywhere need to stand up for Momdani on those grounds alone. This is shameful.

African Americans have long experienced this aspect of American society and indeed it's the one where a sellout crook like Kamala Harris is "good", while a genuine comnunity activist like Omali Yeshitela is sneared as being "dangerous", anti American" etc merely for seeking decent human living conditions for the masses.

Zohran Mamdani has a Hindu mother. The media calls him Muslim but in reality, he comes from a mixed religious background.

Mixed religious background doesn't mean a person can't choose his own religion. He literally calls himself a Muslim.

That what’s the media promotes. I can’t literally find a single picture of him in Salah. Why are the Pro-Israel Hawkish Jewish congressmen like Chuck Schumer and Jerry Nadler endorsing Mamdani? The entire charade is to ride on the post-GENOCIDE pro-Muslim sympathy and get Mamdani elected. I don’t support the Republican scum Cuomo either but just saying Mamdani is the son of a Hindu and probably a non-practicing Muslim father. Mamdani is going to keep $65M for gender affirming care.

The "DSA" affiliation and their track recorfd, suggests that he will say these things and rally to the Dems at election time, voters who otherwise would help forn the foundation of a long lasing political alternative on the left.

But once in office, no change.

And Cuomo and Adams are over the hill, punch-drunk has beens, being paid to take the fall and make it look dramatic.

AOC come to office like this: matched against a Dems insider who was really leaving anyway, but pretending to content a primary.

I am from Vancouver,Canada and i want to say the US Gov't got a long History in Latin America of getting rid of any President there who won't go along with " Latin America been the Backyard of the USA".The USA also bombs any country that don't allow the Yankees to take control of their country. For eg. North Korea, Vietnam, Iraq.

So it is not surprising that Zohran Mamdani is been condemned. It also can be seen that countries like Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela fought back against the Yankee Aggression against their countries and won ! The People in New York can fight back and win to !
