Lest anyone think that Erdogan and Israel are not in cahoots, aided and brokered by the United States....

Excellent review! Chilling however because we are witnessing live the killing of all the projects for the liberation of Palestine and a just and equitable solution to the tragedies that followed the establishment of the Zionist project in Palestine…. The Oded Ynion project is being realized before our eyes in its implacable perversity, under the complicit gaze and with the assistance of a West that has renounced all moral restraint… Evil prevails….once again….

Alon Mizrahi has an interesting theory, if you haven’t seen that yet… Does make sense.

Can you say briefly what theory you’re referring to specifically? I feel like I may have missed a post by him.

These are several things going on here. One is this is intended by the transatlantic Zionist alliance to ensure that they can carry on with systematic mass murder of Palestinians and Lebanese.

The second which most journalists and bloggers seem to be overlooking, is this move to capture control of Syria is a direct prelude to the transatlantic zionists and their European vassals mounting a bombing attack on Iran.

The last attempted attack was thwarted by the Israeli bombers having been detected early. We know that a Russian-suppliedS400 battery was captured by the western backed terrorists who just took over Syria. Could be they captured other equipment, or tat the Russians had to dismantle and withdraw other equipment when they withdrew to their bases in the fall of Syria.

So this leaves the zionists now primed to attack again.

Iran and Russia don’t appear to be taking this seriously but it could cause the downfall of both, as their power is mainly defensive and this weakens their ability considerably.

Why does it seem the Iran, Russia, and Iran-backed groups in Syria just let the ‘Rebels’ win without a big fight? It seems like there’s some reason Assad had fallen out with the axis of resistance.

Expand full comment

I have the impression that they didn't want to fight anymore to prop up the Assad regime. Assad, too, seemingly gave up. A week ago Iran publicly announced that it would send soldiers if Syria asked for it. Yesterday, I heard Professor Marandi saying that a senior Iranian official sought audience with Assad but Assad didn't respond. Looks like Assad knew the jig was up.

Syrian army seemingly melted away just like the Afghan army when the Taliban ran rampant after American withdrawal in 2021. They were barely paid anything, had been fighting for years, and were likely hungry since the Americans and their mercenaries have been occupying the agricultural lands and the oil fields, bringing the whole country on the brink of starvation. Most of the Syrian soldiers ran away instead of defending Assad.

Thank you! Genuinely trying to figure out what is happening.

There's so much we aren't told.

THAT is the crux of the matter. Not only are we not told a lot, but what we are told are lies, contradictions, and even nonsense. Today's loser is tomorrow's hero.

Aren’t the Muslims in Gaza Sunni? I think you are the bigot, Robert.

They’re bigots too. They hate Iran and they hate the Shia. Those shitheads cheered when Assad fell. Most Sunni Arabs HATE the Shia.

Won’t the ‘Rebels’ face internal pressure to push back against Israel? I’m confused why they seems to have such popular support

Hired mercenary killers (just can't use the word Rebel anymore - can't take part in that doublespeak lie) are exponentially growing all over the world as fast as billionaires are, in the wake of decades of non-stop wars of death and destruction perpetrated by the colonial Empire, leaving millions of boys and young men homeless, countryless, growing up in refugee camps. All the Western countries are hiring them instead of using their own citizens. With almost no options, they are threatened or enticed into tribal "rebel" mercenary gangs and trained with western weapons and expertise for hire. They have no loyalty except to whoever pays them the best (can be $3,000, $4,000 to $10,000 a day!)

These are tribal people. For the most part, who at that level in their right mind would push back against the US/Israel (the people paying them)? Even developed countries, small or large, with militaries won't confront the USIsrael.

Expand full comment

I agree with this assessment generally, but am also trying to understand the shifting tensions. It’s hard for me to accept that the people of Syria generally want an alliance with US Imperialism and Zionism. The degree to which sectarian and tribal ideas have sway indicates to me that the concept of “Arab Nationalism” has failed to pose an alternative in this moment. However, the resistance is not helpless so the fall of Assad is not the end. New energy for struggle will emerge, even if there are setbacks

More like $2,000/month.

You may be right. The pay may have dropped since Israel and Ukraine were vying for the very "best" seasoned mercs. Still, $2,000/month is a lot for these "rebel" mercs.

They’re bigoted Sunni Arabs who HATE the Shia and Iran far more than they hate Israel. Most of the Sunnis in Syria, the Gulf, Mesopotamia, and Arabia have a vicious and abiding hatred for Iran and the Shia. Most Sunni Arabs would rather murder the Shia than fight Israel. Sunnis are no good. Shitty Muslims.

Expand full comment

Who’s bigoted?

Expand full comment

Sunni Arabs. They’re horrific. They’d rather massacre the Arabs than fight Israel.

Expand full comment

This is needlessly reductive. Most of the Sunnis among the Syrian "rebels" are foreign mercenaries, doing the bidding of whoever pays them. If they have to kill Sunnis to secure the dollar they will do it. They aren't guided by any ideology beyond their paymasters'. The ISIS/Al-Qaeda takfiris have been created and funded by the US/Israel and are on their payroll. Their behaviour has nothing to do with their belief in Islam or lack thereof. It's just money.

This is also true for the noramalising Arab states. Their publics are staunchly pro-Palestine and anti-Zionist and wouldn't deal with the Zionists if their life depended on it. But they are too powerless to protest their repressive monarchies for the fear of getting disappeared.

Expand full comment

They have massive support with Syrian, Iraqi, Yemeni, Saudi, Emirati, Qatari, Afghan, Jordanian, and Turkish Sunnis. And way too much support among Palestinian Sunnis. The Arab League congratulated Al Qaeda on conquering Syria.

Expand full comment

Most are bigoted Sunni Arabs from Iraq and Syria, not foreign fighters. You better believe the Takfiris believe in their ideology.

Has Hezbollah's supply route to Iran really been disrupted? All of those militias and underground networks in Syria are still in place. I'm not so sure, but we'll find out over the next few months.

One thing the fall of the Ba'athist regime does is to focus Western attention away from Palestine, allowing the Israelis to kick up their ethnic cleansing campaign while everybody focuses on Syria. From what I can see, the Zionists are taking full advantage of the situation.

Expand full comment

If it's not disrupted yet, it soon will be because the HTS "rebels" have declared Hezbollah as one of their enemies. It's hard to see them allowing weapons to flow into Hezbollah's hands through Lebanon.

Yes, this is very, very bad news for Gaza. The extermination campaign is escalating significantly.

I believe it was the Lebanese government that accepted the ceasefire.

Yes. Nabih Berri was the Lebanese negotiator, he had the backing of Hezbollah. If Hezbollah didn't like a proposal it wouldn't go through.
