Yemen is a truly honorable country, one of the very few in the world it seems. Nothing better than seeing the US, Israel and the collective West punched in the nose. They richly deserve it.

Good question. The ships were given advance warnings and did not heed them. Yemen has publicly started that it will not allow ships going to Israel to pass, and the shipping companies knew this. They put their own crews at risk. It is they who should be faulted. It is absolutely right, btw, to take action such as a blockade against a country committing a vicious, psychopathic, live-streamed genocide, and attacking multiple countries who have tried to stop them (and killing civilians galore).

Advance warning was given. The ships knew exactly what would be done if they tried to reach Israel. Why did the ships not heed the warnings? No excuse for putting their own crews at risk. Israel is committing genocide. Ships going to Israel are helping the economy there stay afloat so Israelis can kill, maim and/or rape thousand and thousands more Palestinians. Nothing you brought up is a tiny fraction as reasonable a reason to attack a ship. And you fail to ask the most obvious question: why are the Israelis committing a vicious genocide? Yemen wouldn't be blockading ships if it weren't for that. So this is all Israel's fault.

Fair enough, and I'm not even saying it's justified, but they are trying to stop an ongoing genocide.

I am from Vancouver,Canada and i want to say Yankee Brute, Tammy Bruce mentioned so call Iran backed Houthis but never mentioned Yankee backed Genocidal Israel. No wonder, Yankees Go Home is a Popular Slogan !

I see Ships in the Red Sea now fear for the lives of their Crew if they are associated with the Yankees or Genocidal Israel. They needs to be kept like that while Israel occupies Palestine. I am pleased that two enemy ships, Magic Seas and Eternity C. are together at the bottom of the ocean. What these Ships were doing is a War Crime and they deserved what happened to them.

Long Live Yemen and Palestine for showing the way forward in the Middle East !

Morocco needs to take a lesson from Yemen and shut down the straits to Israeli jet fuel.

Morocco has been sitting in Israel’s lap since its independence in the 1950s. The Mossad trained its security services in the 1960s and continues to enjoy a free hand in the country. While ordinary Moroccans — like most Arabs — remain steadfast in their support for Palestine, their government is as Zionist as they come. Expecting any anti-Israeli action from the Moroccan regime would be an exercise in futility.

And a settler colonial illegality in their own right oppressing the Polisario Front of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in Western Sahara and taking part in western interventions in Yemen!

I live in Morocco and the complicity of its government with Israel is very depressing indeed. The people are definitely with Palestine but - aside from regular tolerated demonstrations to let off steam - there is a heavy hand on public opinion. Dock workers went on strike in Tangier and Casablanca over containers bound for Isreal but organisers were arrested and all went back to normal. The government prosecutes any groups seen as threatening the monarchy or obstructing official policy—especially around normalization with Israel. The US (Trump) and some other Western countries recognised Morocco’s rights to the Sahara (complex issue tbf) hence the tit for tat. We also have a Jewish ‘protected’ minority that was saved from the Nazis in WW2 so deep emotional ties. As with other Arab countries Morocco is too tied up with the U.S. and Europe to risk anything. Geopolitical self interest rules. 😡 Perhaps those wonderful Yemeni fighters in some weird way are less constrained because they have nothing to lose…

Did you know that in Saudi you are not even allowed to have any palestinian flag even when it's only on your phone case (not in the form of actual flag)? If you show any Solidarity with 🇵🇸 they will make you deported from the land? What kind of "Muslim" have literally ZERO Solidarity for other Muslim?? Shame on Saudi or any Arab Country that still licking Zionis & Western Imperialist Boots to satisfy their greeds...

Hi all, just a quick note that - working with the folks at Palestine Vivra and a few people here in Saint John, New Brunswick Canada we’ve created a Substack page for storing clips of public displays of support for the people of Gaza. For now it is just intended to be an archive, but over time it may be a place from which we can organize public displays of support. The thought is that if we have enough people interested in this kind of content, they may organize into public acts of support. The first post contained ten clips and we’ll post a clip or two every day from now until … Palestine is free.

The Substack is called Sing Palestine Vivra. There is not and never will be a paywall. The first two posts are up – have a look.

Since the United States cares so passionately about "freedom of navigation", they surely are ensuring that Russian ships can freely transit the Baltic Sea, free from interference from the British or the Baltic poodles, right?

Muslims! Our Muslims died

They withered in the streets of Gaza

To the rhythm of a childish joke

That the terrible bombs took away her joy

To the beautiful motherly smile

That the sorrow of her two children depressed her again.

And the black murderer of the Palace of Zion

To the bloodthirsty ones who, like a black giant

Eat all the children of the city

Muslims! Where did the Muslims go?

Justice dies from this suffering every moment
