I looked away as I could feel my rage and disgust rising. All of these news outlets are so proud of their printed lies. They don't even care that the newspaper ink has been replaced with the blood of innocent human beings.

In my personal experience as an American I have countless lifelong friends and relatives who simply have no interest in what happens to “others” in a place they will never see (unless Trump builds the riviera). They aren’t inherently bad people, wouldn’t personally harm another person, but are happy to have permission to close their eyes.
