Just wanted to say thanks for being enlightening, honest and mixing the horrific actions of a few powerful people with things that make me smile or laugh.

But mostly for rising above the pain and anger writing it must bring to explain complex identity laiden issues in a way that puts character over identity rather than the other way around, which dominates so much of our societal discourse on the matters.

India is moving into the 21st century with the same settler colonial model of land grabs, dispossession and creation of cheap labor through human rights violations that they deplored from the British. What the Hindu fascists hate is that the muslims governments lifted the untouchables out of the oppressed subservient class by converting them. Even the word hindu is a british invention meant to amalgamate thousands of animistic and quasi theistic faiths into one rulable mass. It's a democratic liability that the majority can oppress the minority and as you say much of the safeguards are being destroyed. The corporate indulgences just shows that they've adopted an AngloAmerican model. And because the rights violations are happening to brown people the US doesn’t care and only sees a partner in the big game against China. It's definitely muddled as you say with the Russian alignment. South Africa and Nicaragua stand out in this century, I hope Malaysia, Cuba, Algeria, Guyana, Namibia and Mozambique join them.

By all of those "selfie" with the head of Nazi Israeli Zionists, I must believe what somebody wrote few days ago: that the Israel Neo Hitler is keeping them by the balls as he can reveal very bad things of each one of them.
