Allah rest the Souls of Hind Rajab and her cousin Layan, her relatives, and the Paramedics who tried to save her. The sheer terror of her last moments is beyond imagination. A Pox on all the houses of Netanyahu, Gvir and Smotrich, and especially Netanyahu's craven coward of a conscription dodging son, safe and well in a Florida condominium. Shameless Warmongers are always the same, gleefully endanger their own citizens security, as long as their own children are safe from harm. Despicable. Free Palestine.

The most beautiful thing about the noble Palestinian people, of whom Refat Al-Alreer was one of the best examples, is that they refuse to hate. They know that hatred is disfiguring, because of the behaviour of their occupiers. They know that there is a better way.

Hate is not fundamentally immoral or dishonorable. To hate or shame hate is nonsensical.

There is fundamentally nothing noble about "refusing to hate." Some things and some people should be hated. And it can be shameful not to. Hate is a fundamental aspect of the human psyche, like sadness, fear, or love, joy, or anger. It is not something that can be "refused" -- only repressed, only disassociated, only denounced. The repression of a peoples' hate is a tyrant's greatest fantasy. Hate does not disfigure, but its repression can. Even your description of hate as disfiguring reveals your repressed hatred.
