An immodest proposal
For preventing the Israelis from being the object of animus to their neighbours, and for making them beneficial to the Western public.
It was a melancholy object to those who walked through the Tel Aviv airport on October 7, when they saw the lounges and boarding lines crowded with Israelis of both sexes, followed by one, two, or three children, all in hurriedly packed bags and importuning every airline counter for tickets. These mothers and fathers, instead of being able to work for their honest livelihood, were forced to employ all their time strolling to beg tickets for their helpless infants, who, as they grow up, either turn thieves for fun or leave for their dear native countries to lounge on the beaches of California or to take up a cushy job in London1.
It is agreed by most whites in Europe and the United States that Israelis in the Middle East live in a perilous state, which causes them a very great additional grievance; therefore, whoever could find a fair, easy, and workable method of making these Israelis sound and useful members of the Western community, would deserve so well of the public, as to have his statue set up for a preserver of the nation.
In a sense, the Israelis — over a million of whom (roughly one in eight) hold dual passports — have come up with a workable solution themselves: voluntary migration to the West. In the immediate aftermath of the Gaza ghetto uprising, nearly half a million of them left the country between October and November last year with no plan to return. Since the situation hasn’t become any better in the months since, with Palestinian resistance proving too hot to handle on the Gazan battlefield and still able to fire rockets deep into historic Palestine at will despite over four months of Israeli assault, it’s safe to assume the flight of the Israelis has continued unabated.
The migration from the desert was already in full swing before the events of October 7, since Zionists — unhappy with what Columbia University Professor Joseph Massad calls the “master-race democracy” under Benjamin Netanyahu’s fascist government — were leaving the country in droves. To protest the latest Netanyahu regime, some have even created a movement named “Leaving the Country - Together,” under which thousands are helped to leave the colonised Palestinian lands and start kibbutzim in New Jersey — presumably from where they came in the first place.
But it’s not just those unhappy with the politics of the state. Israeli policemen are resigning en masse due to psychological trauma as a result of October 7 and its aftermath. But there’s a catch: before they resign, the police officers must pass through a psychological evaluation. That could be tricky because Israeli psychiatrists are also taking the first flight out of Tel Aviv due to the increased workload. Their run for the British Isles is so rampant that the “mental health system in Israel faces collapse,” according to Haaretz. All this trauma before they stop the butchery in Gaza and sit down to contemplate the carnage they have wrought on a helpless population imprisoned in a cage for nearly two decades.
For all their shtick about the stolen Palestinian land being promised to them by none other than God, more than a million Israelis live in the United States and consider becoming an American citizen “every Israeli’s dream.” 66,000 Israelis realised their American dream between 1995 and 2005. That number rose to 87,000 between 2006 and 2016, a whopping 31.8 percent increase. In addition, hundreds of thousands of Israelis have moved to Europe and Canada. Germany, the erstwhile scourge of Jews, is home to 20,000 of them.
For a citizenry that claims millennia-old ties to Palestine, it’s surprising how quickly they run to, presumably, their actual ancestral homes in various Western states at the slightest discomfort of any kind. Haaretz reported on the migration of Israelis due to economic reasons in 2013. Ten years later, The Times of Israel reported that a remarkable 28 percent of the self-proclaimed “chosen ones” wanted to leave the promised land due to Netanyahu’s coalition’s judicial reforms. A Middle East Monitor story, incidentally from October 6, 2023, reported Jews “lining up in front of European embassies in Tel Aviv to apply for European passports.” They appeared to favour the sunny climes of Portugal, with the Iberian state receiving 21,000 applications in the first nine months of 2023 alone.
Yet, these huge numbers may just be a trickle before the flood. The longer Israel’s genocide of Palestinians continues, the worse it is looking for its citizens. The so-called Gaza envelope — a buffer zone that Israel created to keep the Gazans firmly imprisoned in their inhuman pens and ensure that life this side of the Gaza-Israel border thrived unhindered from the unsightly scenes of a persecuted population — appears to be quickly becoming a thing of the past. Netanyahu’s plan to “thin out” the Gaza population has ironically manifested itself in the Gaza envelope. The areas well inside the envelope have become veritable ghost towns, with the former residents showing no appetite for a return despite financial inducements from the state. A family of five has been promised $5,600 every month to move back to their former homes — so much easier to do such bonanzas when American taxpayers pick up the tab!
And it’s not just the Palestinian resistance that is turning parts of their ancestral lands into ghost towns. Hizbullah’s support for the Palestinian resistance has had the same effect on the northern parts of the Israeli state. The population in those parts, too, has significantly thinned. Those remaining are left to contend with frequently blaring sirens and scurrying off into bomb shelters as the Lebanese movement continues aiding Palestinian resistance against Israel’s genocidal onslaught and staving off any potential Israeli incursions on their own territory.
Indeed, the Israeli defense minister, Yoav Gallant, hasn’t kept his dastardly schemes under wraps, boldly telling the Wall Street Journal: “We can copy-paste [what is happening in Gaza] to Beirut.” As if to prove it was no empty threat from Gallant, and as has been its wont over the past century, Israel has taken to massacring Lebanese civilians instead of sticking to military targets.
Undeterred, Hizbullah chief Hassan Nasrallah has promised to continue the resistance until the Gaza genocide is stopped. Speaking on Friday, he declared: “The response to the massacre should be continuing resistance work at the front and escalating resistance work at the front.” More ominously for the Israelis seeking a return to their former dwellings near the Lebanese border, Nasrallah, whose fighters have maintained a principled stance of only attacking military targets thus far, didn’t shy away from a more hands-off approach against an enemy that refuses to operate by the rules of war or basic human decency. He announced: “Our women and our children who were killed in these days, the enemy will pay the price of spilling their blood in blood.”
Furthermore, Ansarullah (or the Houthis) aren’t backing down either from their moral anti-genocide stand. Despite the US- and the UK-led coalition’s repeated bombardments on multiple Yemeni provinces, the Yemeni resistance has managed to continuously hit Israel-bound ships. Their resistance, which first began with drone attacks on Umm al-Rashrash (renamed to Eilat after the Zionist theft of Palestine), is exacting a high price on the Israeli economy.
In his speech this Friday, Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi listed the ways his men have impacted Israel’s economic interests: complete shutdown of the port of Eilat, 70 percent reduction in shipping volume through the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, affected trade relations with 14 countries, among others. He further added that the prices of goods in the Israeli markets have increased by 30-50 percent as a result of the Ansarullah blockade.
Already an expensive country to live in, the costs will significantly escalate for Israelis as Ansarullah, whose courageous act Norman Finkelstein has deemed worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize (if that award had any legitimacy), unlike nearly all of the West, continue to uphold their moral duty against the genocidal Zionists.
Since Israel, the cynosure of the West’s eyes, can do no wrong and must be supported unconditionally in its every undertaking, including genocide, to the extent of starting another war, the US and the UK regimes, in collaboration with other allies, have bombed Yemen — the poorest country in the Middle East — 403 times since January.
But the track record of Western wars in the Middle East quagmire wouldn’t warm the Israeli hearts. They would rather stick to taking the earliest flight to their Western abode. Not just the US and its most eager vassal, the UK, but other European states too would be more than willing to bring their long-lost neighbours back into their neighbourhoods. The signs are aplenty. Germany volunteered to intervene in the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). A number of other European states are supplying it with weapons and funds in the aid of genocide.
And why not? It’s almost as if a vast majority of Israelis are Europe’s own. As the European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen declared last June: “The history of the Jewish people is the history of Europe.” She continued: “One century ago, almost ten million Europeans were Jewish. There were more Jewish people in Europe than in the rest of the world combined. And it was a blessing for Europe. Our European way of life wouldn’t be the same without Jewish culture and science.” von der Leyen, it appears, would willingly support the voluntary migration of Israelis to Europe. Some of them even in her home, one would presume, given her love and advocacy for them.
Katharina von Schnubrein, also of the European Commission, sees Jews as an integral part of Europe. “Europe would not be Europe without its Jewish heritage,” she declared last September. And went on to add: “Jewish heritage is part of Europe’s DNA. And as European institutions, we want to protect Jewish heritage, to safeguard and cherish it.”
Furthermore, some of the more enlightened European leaders call the non-European world a “jungle.” One such leader is von der Leyen’s deputy at the European Commission, Josep Borrell. He pronounced in 2022: “Europe is a garden. We have built a garden… The rest of the world… is not exactly a garden. Most of the rest of the world is a jungle. The jungle could invade the garden. The gardeners should take care of it.” Borrell would be more than happy to welcome the Israelis in the European garden from their current habitation in the rough “jungle,” considering he is capable of making an utter fool of himself on camera in his fawning over Zionists.
Von der Leyen, Schnubrein, and Borrell are not exceptions. Europeans as well as their descendants in the far-flung colonies of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States sympathise more with the self-created problems of the Zionists in the Middle East than the problems of their own citizens, namely the cost of living crisis, unwinnable wars for capital that prove veritable meat grinders for their fine young men and women, a lack of hope for the future among its populace, among others.
In such harrowing circumstances for the rabid Zionists of Israel, I profess, in the sincerity of my heart, that I have not the least personal interest in endeavouring to promote this necessary arrangement for their voluntary migration to the West, having no other motive than the public good of the world, by advancing peace, providing for everyone, relieving the poor Palestinians, and giving some peace and quiet to their long-suffering neighbours.

If I were living in Israel, I would get out now. This is no place to live or raise a family. Let Netanyahu and Biden have the Frankenstein monster they have created.
Great article though I come away with the feeling when dealing with the Zionist pyscology that it reminds me of the domestic abuse dynamic where the bread winner and obvious hard working creative spouse gets to beat the wife and kids because he provided for them. Its his "privladge" for inventing stuff,, or sitting in a ceo position or head of some business where they get the hubris from pushing people around people like little tin soldiers ,,,The boss to do bossy stuff ,,yet always playing the victim to cover up for it, while victimizing.
True in the micro as it is in the macro.
The thought of waves of these type of "imagrants" of an aparthide states mindset flooding the boarders gives one an uneasy feeling they may bring these genocidal chosen superiority attitudes to other shores. But alas their skin tone is just light enough to have that ignored and ushered past the dark jungle dwellers.
