The worth of a Palestinian life
The outrage in the aftermath of the killing of white aid workers in Gaza has been revealing.
The satanic Israeli regime has butchered over 33,000 Palestinians — the number easily exceeds the 40,000 mark if missing persons (presumed buried under the rubble of their destroyed homes) are taken into account, numbers that Gaza’s health ministry doesn’t count — in a Western-supported and Western-funded genocide that has now entered its seventh month. More than half year of a brutal, live-streamed Holocaust that has blown children to smithereens, bulldozed their fathers, raped their mothers, and summarily executed anyone and anything that moves. But none of the unabashed and extensively documented slaughter has drawn so much as a criticism from the Western “democracies” and the Leaders of the Free World™. It hasn’t elicited so much as “Hey, Nazis, go a little easy. At least stop bombing the hospitals, man.” Or even a “Can you leave the kids alone?” Nope, none of it. Until some whites died.
Not one white. But several whites. Six of them to be exact. One Pole, one Australian, three Brits, and one Canadian-American. (One Palestinian died too in the same attack, but does he really matter?) To give some context, on April 1, the six aid workers from the World Central Kitchen (WCK) and their Palestinian driver were travelling in a clearly-marked aid car with permit from none other than the genocidal Israelis, but were still drone bombed. They left their bombed car and moved into a second vehicle which too got bombed. Then they moved into a third car when the Israeli Nazis finally achieved their target of slaughtering every single one of them via a third strike.
The Western leadership is incensed. 40,000 dead Palestinians is fine, but they draw the line at the butchering of whites.
The UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak — a brown man of Indian origin, to be sure, who has unironically declared that Britain has never been on the wrong side of history — said that he is “appalled by the killing of brave British heroes who were bringing food to those in need.” Before the attack on the WCK staff, the Israelis had already killed nearly 200 Palestinian aid workers and had systematically executed several Gazan officials in-charge of aid distribution, but again, do the Palestinians really count? Furthermore, the UK foreign minister David Cameron has declared that his country’s backing of Israel’s Right to Self Defence™ was “not unconditional.” Would you believe it? All it took was the killing of three British men. 40,000 dead Palestinians be damned.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has asked for accountability from the Israeli Nazis. “We need to have accountability for how it has occurred, and what is not good enough is the statements that have been made, including that this is just a product of war,” declared Albanese. He even invoked — shock horror — international humanitarian law, which incidentally hasn’t been a consideration when Palestinians have been butchered at the rate of nearly 180 a day for the past six months. “This is against humanitarian law — international humanitarian law makes it very clear that aid workers should be able to provide that aid and that assistance free of the threat of losing their life,” Albanese whimpered.
Joe Biden, the American genocidaire in chief, who has repeatedly declared there are “no red lines” that the Israelis can possibly cross in their ongoing genocide as he has continuously shipped billions of dollar worth of arms to the Nazis, is “outraged and heartbroken” that some whites got killed. “Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers trying to deliver desperately needed help to civilians,” Biden said.
“Incidents like yesterday’s simply should not happen,” he announced on April 2, as if to attest that the wholesale slaughter of Gazans in the lead up to the WCK staff’s killing doesn’t outrage him or break his heart, and the Israelis should feel free to do more of it without censure. They just need to make sure the whites are safe.
Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of the US vassal state of Canada, followed Biden’s lead and said the attack on the WCK aid workers was “absolutely unacceptable.”
Poland was another matter altogether. It is one of a handful of European states which have recognised a Palestinian state. Facing criticism from the Poles for the deliberate killing of their countryman, the Zionist entity’s ambassador to Poland, Yacov Livne, went on a typically shameless and unhinged tirade — something of a Zionist specialty.
He said that “anti-Semites will always remain anti-Semites, and Israel will remain a democratic Jewish state that fights for its right to exist. Also for the good of the entire Western world.” If this statement doesn’t make the perfect example in a dictionary definition of shamelessness or unhinged, nothing will.
The Poles ultimately forced the Zionist blowhard to apologise and had a scathing repartee of their own. “I handed over a note of protest to the ambassador. The ambassador apologised for this event, which has no precedent in the history of the civilised world,” Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna told a press conference.
Six days have passed since the attack on the WCK personnel. Going by the Israeli average of nearly 180 murders a day, at least 1,000 more Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. Here’s an update from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza from April 5: “The Israeli occupation commits 5 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 54 martyrs and 82 injuries reaching hospitals in the past 24 hours. A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and the ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach them.”
If you follow updates from Gaza’s health ministry, you know it has been a steady stream of such horrific updates for the past half year.
To put it into perspective, the Israelis have killed 6,665 set of six people so far. Or they have drone bombed a car carrying six people for 6,665 days in succession. Or they have killed six people every single day for 18 years. To put it another way, a child born on October 7 would become an adult seeing a car carrying six people bombed to death every day of his existence, as if it’s the most routine thing in life: the sun rises, birds chirp, Israel bombs to death six people in a car.
But these atrocities haven’t so much as prompted the summoning of the Israeli representatives in Western capitals to demand from them explanations for wholesale killings of innocent civilians. To ask them for justification for engineering a devastating famine that has seen Gaza becoming home to 80 percent of the world’s hungriest people, produced sickening images of emaciated children, and has killed over two dozen of them from hunger. It hasn’t prompted the white capitals to demand answers for the destruction of nearly all of Gaza’s hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, and civilian infrastructure. Hell, even a two-week siege of Gaza’s largest hospital that saw the Israelis at their satanic worst as they arrested, maimed, dismembered, raped, and executed over 400 civilians didn’t so much as prompt a meaningful action from any of the European or northern American capitals.
On the contrary, the Western propagandist in chief, John Kirby, said, with a straight face, that the United States hasn’t found any instance — not even one — where Israel has violated international humanitarian law during its six months of extermination campaign against Palestinians.
If the wholesale massacre of innocent civilians committed by the Zionist entity with targets chosen by AI killing machines — stuff dystopian horror is made of — isn’t a violation of humanitarian law, it is only logical to conclude that — perhaps — the said humanitarian laws do not apply to Palestinians. It is not even a conjecture at this point. There has long existed a strain among progressive grifters where they are ostensibly progressive on all kinds of issues but Palestine, giving rise to the pejorative Progressive except Palestine.
As I wrote in an earlier piece, such contempt for a colonised people isn’t reserved uniquely for Palestinians, but that Palestine’s direct colonisation appears anachronistic in the 21st century which makes the Western liberal hypocrisy hard to comprehend, especially when Gazans are live-streaming their Holocaust to the whole world.
Or is the reason for the Palestinians’ exclusion from humanitarian considerations down to the fact that the Western regimes have bought wholesale the Israeli narratives about the Palestinians, that they are “human animals,” “Amalek,” “beasts walking on two legs,” “drugged roaches in a bottle,” and “cancer.”
No wonder then the invocation of human rights for Gaza came only after the killing of white aid workers. What human rights can beasts, roaches, and cancer expect?
