Palestine notes: Talking drones and the Gospel, the Israeli AI weapons annihilating Gaza
A quick chat designed to tell you something you need to know about the politics surrounding Palestine.
Palestine notes is inspired by the Pass notes in the British imperialist propaganda rag, also known as the Guardian.
I like the format of the Pass notes and feel that it can be a good vehicle to inform the uninitiated about the various aspects of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the politics surrounding Palestine, and the Palestinian fight for freedom from the settler colonial apartheid colony of Israel.
Names: Talking drones and the Gospel.
Age: The talking drone is roughly 3.5 years old, while the Gospel appears to be of recent birth.
Appearance: The worst dystopia come to life.
What are you talking about? Is this about ChatGPT? This is the kind of dystopia that sci-fi writers wrote about.
Okay, enough of this buildup. Can you tell me the meat and potatoes of this thing? Palestinians have been living a nightmare for the past couple of months as the Israelis continue to indiscriminately bomb almost every part of the Gaza Strip. And somehow, the Israelis have still found more ways to compound their horror — this time with talking drones.
Yes, drones that talk. And threaten death.
Here’s a translation from Arabic of a talking drone deployed by the Israelis in Gaza: “Residents of Khillat Farra, we warn you. If anyone thinks of doing something, we will reach him and, if necessary, kill him.”
(The Zionist terrorists have also deployed “sniper drones,” rifle-equipped, remote-controlled drones that kill and maim Palestinians. “We have had wounded come and say that it’s been firing at people in the streets,” a doctor at Al-Shifa told The Telegraph. “We can hear it. This afternoon it was really spooky. It’s like a drone sniper and it flies very low.”)
Wait, did I hear that right? A drone that is threatening to kill people? That’s exactly right. Gone are the days of the Israelis dropping leaflets from the sky, ordering civilians to evacuate buildings before bombings. Now, they have drones that shout and threaten to kill from the skies.
Israeli outlet 972 in February 2020 first reported the use of talking drones to disperse protesters in a Palestinian village: “The drone was first spotted during the weekly demonstration against the occupation in the village of Qaddum on January 17, during which it ordered Palestinian protesters to ‘go home’ in Arabic and Israeli protesters not to ‘stand with the enemy’ in Hebrew.”
Scary! Are these drones the only AI-enabled devices the Zionists are using in their genocide, or do they have more? They have plenty more. Didn’t you hear about the Gospel, which, contrary to its name, brings only death and destruction to Gazans?
I haven’t. What’s the Gospel? The only gospels I know of are the Biblical ones. And doesn’t the word gospel translate to good news? You are right about the translation of the word gospel, but true to the Zionist habit of twisting words beyond recognition (see Israelspeak: A guide to the Zionist dictionary), the genocidaires in Israel have named a machine that conveys bad news — news of death and destruction — the Gospel.
Now, to the first part of your question. The Israelis are using AI to find targets in Gaza. They are doing it through an AI tool that’s called the Gospel (Hebrew name: Habsora).
Israeli outlets 972 and Local Call did an investigation on the Israeli practices during the ongoing assault on Gaza and revealed this:
“According to the investigation, another reason for the large number of targets, and the extensive harm to civilian life in Gaza, is the widespread use of a system called ‘Habsora’ (‘The Gospel’), which is largely built on artificial intelligence and can ‘generate’ targets almost automatically at a rate that far exceeds what was previously possible. This AI system, as described by a former intelligence officer, essentially facilitates a ‘mass assassination factory.’” [Emphasis added.]
The 972 article goes on to add rather ominously:
“A senior military official in charge of the target bank told the Jerusalem Post earlier this year that, thanks to the army’s AI systems, for the first time the military can generate new targets at a faster rate than it attacks.” [Emphasis added.]
To reiterate, the AI machine is generating so many targets for attacks that the Israeli occupation forces are struggling to keep up with it!
Now, think about the fact that the Israelis have displaced 70 percent of all civilians despite being unable to keep up with their AI master. It makes one wonder if the AI wants all of Gaza reduced to rubble — which shouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility since the ethnic cleansing of Gaza has been a well-documented Israeli desire, a desire that they have even put to official paper.
The output of the AI tools is dependent on the quality of the data they are fed. If the Gospel is fed data by genocidal maniacs who want to exterminate the whole of Gaza and push everyone in the strip into the Sinai, then surely the machine’s output is a reflection of that desired input.
Wow! This makes so much sense. The machine appears to be doing exactly what its programmers have fed it. Indeed, cruel humans make cruel machines.
Do say: “Please, give me some good news, but not the Israeli kind.”
Don’t say (in the voice of an Israeli drone): “Residents of [insert your choice of city name here], we warn you…”

You can nock down any drone with a laser, just shine the beam onto the drone’s sensor and that’s it.
The thing will be blind and forced to land.
Laser burns or damages also ccd cameras.
I remember what my good friend Vittorio Arrigoni used to tell and write about from Gaza, the sleepless nights and the horror of living under the constant noise of those death machine flying over his head.
Peace dignity and justice for Palestina
The talking drone is a new version of an old zionist cruelty. That being the militias threatening villages with a massacre like in Deir Yesien in the first nakba. truly the zionist project is rotten to the roots
