Rabid Jewish supremacist Ben-Gvir is at it again. The Israeli minister in charge of the rape and torture dungeons in occupied Palestine posted a video of himself on Sunday, berating female Palestinian detainees inside a detention cell and proudly boasting that his policies have ensured their harsh conditions in Israeli captivity. “I will continue to lead a policy of the minimum of the minimum!” he wrote in a Twitter post.
Ben-Gvir has a knack for storming the cells of Palestinian detainees and filming their repression while hiding behind an entourage of armed men. He listens to the grievances of the detainees, then proceeds to mock them, promising even harsher restrictions. The latest video follows the same template.
“[There are] raids night and day... and our situation is very bad,” a female detainee tells Ben-Gvir. “A severe infringement of our rights... us women as well.”
When asked about the nature of the problems the detainees are facing, she replies: “Everything... personal needs... we have been without a shower for this whole time, and there is no water inside the cells. There are many diseases and no treatment.”
Ben-Gvir then tells the detainees that their extreme repression is his handiwork: “Okay, I’ll tell you one thing: the days of summer camps in Israeli prisons are over! I am responsible for this. And anyone who harmed my brothers will not get hotel conditions! You held our hostages... we lowered your conditions to the bare minimum.”
Ben-Gvir has been selling the fiction that Palestinian detainees had it easy before the Al-Aqsa Flood and that his depravity is unique. Neither is true.
The situation inside Israeli dungeons was so bad that, in March 2023 — months before the Al-Aqsa Flood operation — Palestinian detainees across the Israeli prison system went on a collective hunger strike to protest their abhorrent conditions. To make matters worse, the Israeli state targeted the stipends that the families of detainees received from the Palestinian Authority. There was increasing pressure on the Palestinian political and military leadership from the detainees and their families to ease their suffering.
The cause of the prisoners has always been an extremely sensitive issue for the Palestinian resistance. The horrific state of the detainees was one of the driving factors behind the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7. It was intended to empty the Israeli detention centres of all Palestinian detainees in an all-for-all exchange with the Israeli prisoners of war.
Since the Flood, however, the Israelis have escalated their violent practices manifold.
Nearly 100 Palestinians have been killed in these dungeons as a result of extreme torture, starvation, and neglect. One of the victims was Dr. Adnan al-Bursh. The youngest martyr was only 17 years old.

Recently, Ben-Gvir posted a gloating video showing the construction of a gallows complex where Palestinians would be hanged, following the passage of an Israeli law allowing exclusively for the execution of Palestinians.
Reassuring his bloodthirsty compatriots, Ben-Gvir said that the execution sites would be equipped with viewing booths for Israelis to enjoy the murder of Palestinians live.
“I promised to worsen the conditions of terrorists in prisons — we kept it,” Ben-Gvir said in the video. “I promised to pass the death penalty for terrorists law — we did. And now the death row and hanging facility are also starting to take shape.”
Ben-Gvir has used this depravity to build political capital. These videos have an eager audience in profoundly sick Israeli society. The Israelis, who have repeatedly expressed their desire to see the complete extermination of Palestinians, appear keen on rewarding Ben-Gvir and his party in the upcoming elections, with the party projected to increase its share of seats in the Knesset by 33 percent.
Not only have the Israelis dropped thousand-pound bombs on fragile Palestinian bodies, incinerating them in a flash, but they have also bared their teeth in their treatment of those they have kept captive, away from the world’s eyes. Yet they have broadcast both forms of depravity for the world to see and faced no sanctions for it.
More than 9,600 Palestinians are currently being tortured in Israeli dungeons, including 84 women and 350 children.

empathy, humanity, tenderness, mercy, kindness, generosity, altruism, benevolence . . . .
Any noun you can dig up denoting a positive human value? Place it under this heading of minimum of the minimum found in Israeli society or any member of that society, not just Ben-Gvir, that especially bloated mass of toxic gases and fecal remnants.
Where is the western outrage at this. Where is the humanity and decency that the west so often preached about. The fact that Israel has not been kicked out of every nation, out of every economy, out of every cultural and sporting event is just beyond me. We may as well be working with the Nazis. Because the Nazi's ideology is alive and well in modern Israel. If those who fought and died in WW2 could see us now, they would be horrified.
